Summer Camp Registration

My After School Program (MASP)  is the registration host for teacher led Kindergarten Summer camps at Mary Lin, Morningside, Sarah Smith, and Springdale Park for Summer 2024. MASP will also host PreK camp at Springdale Park. Children must be enrolled for Fall at the school where they register for camp*. MASP is not the provider of any camps listed below other than Kindergarten Camp and Summer After School care.

STEAM CAMP DESCRIPTION: Blast off into uncharted territories of fun with our week-long STEAM focused camps with Steam Powered Kids in Decatur. Each day we will challenge campers to apply the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math to make things with their hands and interact with the latest robotic technology platforms. Camps are themes include: Maker Camps, Intro to Robotics; Robotics, Drones and Design; First Lego League Boot Camp and more! There are camp options available for students in grades 1 through 12. Our APS families are eligible for 10% off with the code: APSFAMILIES.

Kindergarten camp registration will open- April 1 at 9AM- 

HOW/WHERE TO REGISTER ON THIS SITE: 

• CLICK REGISTER HERE at bottom of this box
• LOGIN -RETURNING FAMILIES: ADD your rising Kinder students to your existing parent portal profile to register. NEW families, create your family profile in the parent portal when prompted. 
• Once logged in to the Parent Portal here on our website: Click EXPLORE PROGRAMS In top right then SUMMER CAMPS in the blue box, then LEARN MORE, then you will select your child's K camp for the school they attend to begin the registration process. 
• CHILD MUST BE ENROLLED AT THE SCHOOL PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR K CAMP, 
• Complete the questions and registration. System will email you a confirmation once enrollment is processed. 
• Child schedule and camp information can be confirmed under the child's profile once complete. 

IMPORTANT: 

Children attending Kindergarten camps with registration on this website must be enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year at the school where they will attend Kindergarten camp. 

Students enrolled in Kindergarten camp that are not registered at that school for the 2024-25 Kindergarten year will be removed from the roster and a refund will be made minus a $50 fee.

To register your child for school-day Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year, please contact the front office of that school site.

             Morningside Elementary: Kindergarten Camp COMPLETED JUNE 7 2024

             Springdale Park Elementary: Kindergarten Camp at the Main Campus                          

             Sarah Smith Primary: Kindergarten Camp at the Primary Campus

* If a student is registered for a Pre-K or K camp at a school they are not registered for (for Fall 2024) the registration will be removed with a $50 withdrawal fee deducted from that refund.

IF your family already has a profile in this system, you will login to your existing parent portal profile and add your rising Kindergartener by clicking REGISTER HERE below

IF you are new to us and have never had an enrollment in any way with My After School Program (this includes aftercare, extracurricular programs or camps) you will create a new profile by clicking REGISTER HERE below. 

• Students should wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes or sneakers for their camp. No flip-flops or open toed sandals please. 
• Bring a refillable water bottle with the child's name on it for camp.
• Child may bring a backpack or bookbag and a sweater or sweatshirt as it is sometimes very cool in the buildings. Please LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH CHILD NAME. 
• Some programs ask that children bring a light lunch, please confirm with the lead teacher indicated in the camp description. PLACE LABEL LUNCH EACH DAY.
• Please make sure that your phone will accept calls during camp time in case camp teacher needs to reach you.
• If registering after June 1, camp t-shirt may not be available at certain sites
• If a camp is cancelled by the lead teacher/ instructor, a full refund will be made MINUS a 7% card processing fee. 
• If a withdrawal request is made by June 1 for June camps, or by July 1 for July camps, refund will be made at rate of 50% of the camp fee for Kinder camps. 
• For Summer School After School, there is no proration and no drop in option. There are no refunds once registration is complete. This is confirmed by the parents in the registration process. 
• If a withdrawal request is made after June 1 for June camps or after July 1 for July camps no refund will be made.
